Wait a Doggone Second!

Dear Boys and Girls,

I was falling in love with Reykjavik, and then I saw this sign on Austurstraeti, one of the pedestrian streets...

What do you think this sign is saying?  Why would the city put up these signs?

I don't know that I could live in Reykjavik anymore.

  2. Maybe it means no dogs without leash? Weird.

We think it means that you have to have your dog on a leash. We can't imagine why they would say there are no dogs allowed at all! It is important to have your dog on a leash so that it doesn't run into the street.
